Optigas-II project consortium demonstrates a significant multi-player character with 6 partners representing 4 Member States and 1 Accession Country. Partners are drawn from countries with a tradition in technology development (Germany & England), and countries whose systems and structures are developing rapidly (Lithuania, Turkey and Bulgaria). The consortium represents a mix of cultures and national perspectives which will influence the final product design and facilitate wider adoption beyond partner countries.
All partner organizations have significant skills and expertise at their disposal. All partners are acquainted with the technical issues the project envisages to tackle on the one hand and with the related vocational training topics (didactical and methodological approaches) in their counties and the international discussion on the other.
Tasks have been allocated appropriately to ensure quality and relevance of work with each partner leading at least one work-package to ensure the ongoing input of each partner and the necessary inter-dependence between partners in order to achieve the project goals.

Elazig City Departnemt of Education (PDNE) is affiliated to Ministry of National Education of Turkish Republic. Established in 1923, we provide general education for the pupils and adults in Elazig. In addition to all comprehensive schools in formal education (The Pre-Primary education, primary education, secondary education) PDNE’s operations cover all non-formal education (regular upper secondary schools, upper secondary schools for adults, vocational institutions, apprenticeship training and young people’s workshop activities). The Department is responsible for administering education policy on pre-school and school education, children, young people and adults. The operations are being developed in accordance with objectives determined by the Ministry of National Education of Turkish Republic. |

Cardonald enjoys a reputation as one of the most enterprising Further Education Colleges in Scotland and provides learning opportunities for around 13,000 students per year on a mix of full time courses, block release, part-time day, evening, flexible learning, e-learning and other short courses. Workforce skills development is a significant and growing part of College activity with training being provided to many companies and organizations both in the UK and overseas. Cardonald is one of the largest providers of Natural Gas industry training and education in Scotland. The College has more than 30 years of specialist experience in the development, delivery and accreditation of training for Natural Gas Engineers, Gas Technicians and Maintenance Engineers. |

KRIC is non profit organization that was established in 2003 with key persons from the University's Innovation Center. Today there are 5 people working in KRIC, all having high education and experience in project management. KRIC is involved in national and international projects supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, knowledge transfer, thus trying to enhance the competitiveness of business, SMEs especially. Vocational training and non formal education of adults is one of main activities to support the goal. KRIC has a wide network of customers; close contacts with universities and training institutions and organizes various seminars on regular basis. Recently KRIC became one of founders of Environmental Association in Lithuania. Wide knowledge and good practice dissemination actions are performed to form LLL oriented business culture among entrepreneurs. Contacts with chambers of commerce and various associations also serve for this purpose. |

National Installation Union (NIU) is a branch association of companies and specialists, working in the following fields: heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigerating equipment, gas and water supply, electrical engineering and automation. The members of the Union are concerned with designing activity, consultancy, training, assembly and installation, production, import and distribution of equipment and materials. The Union was founded in April 1995 in Plovdiv as a non-profit organization (Installation Chamber). The Head Office is in Plovdiv, and there are Regional branches in centers of Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Montana, Plovdiv, Ruse, Sliven and Sofia. The National Installation Union enjoys and maintains good contacts with state and municipal authorities and institutions, with international organizations working in the field of installation equipment, with other national and regional business organizations and professional associations. |
